Frequently Asked Questions
1. Would I have to stop using Internet Explorer? No, you could still keep it as your
Internet browser. Netscape will simply allow you to create your web page,
because in addition to a browser it has a web editor - Composer. Netscape
Composer is an easy-to-use web page editor, and the manual contains 17
video clips that show you exactly how to create your web page.
2. Will I have to buy any other programs to design my web site? Best things in life are free. And
so are your web designing tools. Everything you need to design a web site
can be obtained free and I will tell exactly where to get it.
3. How can I view the videos in your manual? To play a video in the manual, all
you need to do is click on the "camera" graphic and a video will start
playing. For example, on page 52 you will find a video clip that will show
you how a simple web page can be created in under 20 seconds!
4. Will I be able to play videos on my computer? If you have a Windows 95/98/NT/ME
or a Macintosh, you will be able to play videos on your computer. All you
will need to do is download a FREE QuickTime tool for playing videos (www.apple.com/quicktime/download)
and if you purchase the Gold package, QuickTime will be included on your
CD-ROM.
5. I have a Macintosh. Will your manual work on it? Yes. As a former Macintosh user myself,
I made sure that both Windows and Mac users can use my manual. That's why
I created it as PDF document. All you need is the free Acrobat Reader (www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html)
and you will be able to use the manual.
6. How much computer experience should I have to make a web page? Basically, if you can type, you can
make a web site. If you have worked with a computer before and surfed the
'net for a while, you can build your own web site in a matter of hours.
No techno jargon is used in the manual, until you are completely comfortable
with the terminology (links, buttons, fonts, etc.). All you need to be
able to do is type and use a mouse. I have received e-mails from many people
saying that they've been able to build their first web page in 1 hour!
7. How can I get a hard copy of your manual? While there is no printed format
of this manual, you can purchase a Gold Package which includes this manual
and video clips on a CD-ROM . You will also receive a ton of incredible
bonuses (see main page for details). The CD version
is also very powerful because it includes all the program necessary to
make a web site - no need to download anything else.
8. What is PayPal and how can I pay using my free account? PayPal is a very easy online payment
system that anyone can use to send or receive money. If you have an e-mail
address, then you qualify to use PayPal. To open a free account with PayPal,
go to www.paypal.com. When you are
done, login to your account and click on "Send Money". Enter my e-mail
address as the recipient (paypal@helpingfoot.com)
